I paid my Discover Card account in full - according to the balance shown on the internet (it turned out that I did not owe that much) and told Discover Card to close the account.instead, Discover Card accepted a charge against the account two weeks after I paid in full and asked the account be closed then announced a balance of $7.24 and a minimum payment due of $8.00.
Perhaps I should try the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc. Gov).
The Discover Card tyrants need to be stopped!
