I applied for a discover card to pay higher interest rate cards, they send me a letter stating it would only cover 4 of my balance transfers. Only one card and one account, So I went to my credit union refinanced my jeep to pay for the other high % cerdit cards, well about a month later I recieved a 2nd discover card in the mail with the balance tansfers they said they would not cover, I called Discover card to let them know my credit union already paid for these and plus Discover card had already sent me a letter stating they would not pay for these balance transfers, They told me it would be taken care of, well today I found out that they wrote off this as a loss and it is going against my credit, They admited that they were in the wrong and the 2nd card should never have been issued without my permission. I trusted Discover card to take care of this and now they have trashed my perfect credit. I have filed a complaint with the BBB but Discover card never responded to to compaint. Now this is going to be on my credit for 6 more years.
