Used a Lieu of Lein to circumvent foreclosure and seize our title, trying to circumvent my wife's Michigan dower and homestead rights Ripoff

Are you still collecting interest in your class action suit against Ocwen Federal Bank? I reside in Michigan and my husband and I are currently, with counsel obviously, fighting to save our house from Ocwen. Long story there, my husband will have to tell if you are interested. Perhaps he'll refer you to our attorney. That is an interesting story in itself.

However, I personally have a beef with Ocwen because they coerced my husband into signing what is called a "Lieu of Lein" on our house to avoid a foreclosure process. Although the Lieu of Lein clearly states within it several times that he is a married man, they did not in any way, shape or form acknowledge me as an interested party in the property. I do believe that Ocwen has processed the Lieu of Lein, and has confiscated our title based on that. Michigan is a dower state, and I also have a homestead interest in the home. I was not made aware of the Lieu of Lein, neither did I sign it.

The title that they are holding is an illegal title and they are trying to force us out of home based on that. But that is only the end of the problems with Ocwen, many violations and 'predator lending' practices got us into this bad situation in the first place, and forced my husband into a heart attack and then forced him just after returning from the hospital to file a bankruptcy to reduce his financial stresses related to potentially losing the roof over our family's head.

Good one Ocwen, now you have to contend with me.
