I have been a real estate broker for 10 years. Never before have I seen such an incompetent, lying and unethical lender as TLP funding (betterloans.com) First they took and reviewed a credit app, and promised a low APR. When they send the typed credit application back for signature, they had inflated the income by 50%!! Whey we told them the income was overstated, and could not be substantiated, they said to just send a letter from a fake landlord claiming the client paid no rent. Then they boosted the rate and points citing (deficiency in income). They delayed the close of escrow by two weeks while shuffling paper around, then at the 11th hour, they told my client she lacked sufficient credit and declined the loan.
If you use this scamming bunch of liars, do your self a favor and apply at another lender, so when they FLAKE OUT, you aren't left holding the bag with an escrow you can't close.
Better yet, take your business elsewhere
