Freedom Gold is a scam. They contacted me about some membership and free coupons. They told me that after a month that it would pay off for it's self. When the man on the other line started spouting off my bank routing number and stuff I asked how they got the information they avoided the question by changing the subject very quickly.
When I started showing stronger concerns on how they got my bank information they tried to insure me that they were a ligitmate company and that they go it legally and that I had nothing to worry about. I then told them that I didn't feel comfortable with the situation and that I wasn't interested. The other man said to me that he would send me some information about the company and as soon as I get it, if I didn't want is still to call and cancel it.
I was checking my account out today when I found out that they took money out of my account in the amount of $199.00 without my permission. I then called them and told then that I had just got the information on Saturday and that I wanted my money back because I didn't get a chance to even view it for the 7 days they told me I had, and I never told them they could take the money.
They then tell me that I have to send a letter to their company in Flarida to get my refund and that they'll send a message to their main office but to still send the letter, and if I don't receive the money back in my account by next Tuesday to give them a call. They also told me to contact them online about getting my money back at their web site. But when I tried to go to the web site the only thing that came up with this site and all of the complaints about Freedom Gold.
I then Called my bank and told them about the problem and then I asked them for a E Form so I can get my money back and a report would be filed at my bank about the Company.
