Freedom Gold and Versa Talk Communications are a packaged deal. I never even heard of Versa Talk Communications until I Checked my checking account online and saw Versa Talk w / a phone #.
I called them to find out what I was being billed for and couldnt get past the recording. I called I looked online and found this website and found out the 2 companies go hand in hand. So I called Freedom Gold to make sure my account was cancelled-I'm still waiting on the reimbursement of my $199.00-and they told me to call back Versa Talk and to speak to a live person you have to hit the pound key 2x's. So I did, and after waiting a few minutes someone comes on the phone. They tried to give me the runaround. So I had to call Freedom Gold back and asked them why didnt they tell my to begin with, that I had to cancell out each account individually. They lady on the phone was rude and ignorant.
I had to call Versa Talk back to make sure my account was cancelled and now I have to send them a letter in writing with a cancellation code requesting my refund. I dont know whether I should just send them the letter or just go straight to my bank and file a complaint.
I had to make sure with Freedom Gold if there wasnt any other accounts associated w / them that I had to call individually. I told them there better not be.
I never received the information regarding Versa Talk, but I did w / Freedom Gold. They told me it should of come in the same welcome kit, but it didnt.
They give you 7 days to frview the information and if you dont want to keep the program then you can cancel. Well they dont give you the full 7 days.By the time I received the information I was already being billed the 199.00.
A few days later another company contacted me. The lady started off the conversation about 100.00 worth of coupons in free gas. I let her do her rebuttals. She proceeded to tell me about the credit card they have on file. She read off the last 4 numbers of my card number. When I asked her how she got that information she couldnt tell me anything. She said they arent supplied with the company info of who gave her that information. I told her then I didnt want no coupons I wasnt interested and not to send me anything. She tried to convince me, but I still told her no. I cant prove who gave her that information, I wish I could remember the name of the company, but I'm guessing Freedom Gold sold that company my credit card information.
Whatever you people do dont give no information out over the phone and get yourselves on the DO NOT CALL LIST.
