A telemarketer contacted me and this was their 3rd attempt. They claimed they were calling on behalf of Wachovia;they knew who we banked with. I gave them my bank information and they only sent me the information for Distinct advantage.
I called within the specified time and cancelled with an automative attendant. I then see a charge from Freedom Gold for 149.00 in which I never received information nor did I have time to cancel. I called to spoke to the customer service rep. And they have told me to right a letter. I sent a letter UPS the letter a week ago and have been emailing them and no repsonse yet. Then I see that the distinct advangtage charged my account 59.95. When I called and explained that I did cancel but they had no record of that. So agian I have to write another letter.
My budget is so off and my checks bounced. I can't seem to get an answer or someone to talk to. Lesson learned never give your account. If they want to send info-send it without my information.
