Letter To Rip Off My Checking Account Threatening, Scary, Deceptive, Attempt to Rip Off People

I received a letter from CCS Credit Division the other day and read every word also. What a scam! They even included a credit card with my name on it and stated that I have been pre-approved for a credit line of $6,500.00.

The letter stated that if I respond or don't, they will charge my checking account $99.00 for the annual fee. The letter gave a telephone number to activate the card. I knew this was a scam because I didn't ask for this card.

I called the number to get a "human" on the phone but it was a dead end. All automated... Boy I hate all automated phone numbers. I didn't give them my account info. But I am still extremely concerned about this. When the automated voice asked me if I have a valid checking account, I said no to see where it would take me and it gave me another phone number that was also a dead end. I called my bank ASAP and they said that since I didn't give them my account info. They can't get into my account.

So being a computer nerd, I got on the net and started looking and I ended up here. Boy am I glad I did. I read about another woman who got the same letter. She is on disability and so am I. So after reading her report, I got more angry at what these people are doing! They must be stopped!

I called the FBI in the city where I live and I called the FBI in Las Vegas where this scam company claims to be. The FBI located here now has all the info. On this company and you can bet they will investigate it.

The FBI also gave me the number to the Federal Trade Commission. That number is toll free: 877-438-4338. This is also the number you call for identity theft. They said they had just gotten a call about this very company. They said the same thing my bank said, if I didn't give them my account info., they can't get into it.

At most they could bill me. And I won't pay it. The FTC told me that if and when I get a bill to call them back and they will help me. The FTC also told me that they can't harm my credit.

So if you get one of these letters, call the FBI and the FTC and report these people.in my opinion, this is a form of terrorism and I refuse to be terrorized by anyone in the name of Jesus!
