This is a Texas problem:
BoA, in Texas, is now allowed to hold your checks and deposits and decide when to put them through your account.in 2004 a new ruling was made that allows this in Texas. That is exactly why they are now able to juggle things which gives them the ability to carge the user with all sorts of fees.
They also will open an account for you under some name like the Advantage account. That type of account may not have a monthly fee. However they will CHANGE the conditions of that account within 3 months and not inform you. Then all of a sudden you are paying monthly fees you did not agree to.
I had an account with them for 18 years and got sick of the way they do their underhanded business. You are seldom able to speak to anyone who has the power to clean it up. They do this on purpose because it makes them money.
In 2003 and 2004 they had a record number of lawsuits in California just for this kind of games.
I STRONGLY suggest you find another bank. They are so huge that it will take many people leaving to make them notice. But when they have many fewer depositors they will notice.
This is planned by BoA executive levels and it brings in millions of $.
