I was not told of the monthly charge or any other charges. The teller presented this as a low deposit account & HE LIED. He did not tell me of the Monthly Charge when asked about it or any other Fees and did not give me a brochure.
He just wanted the account (commission or sales quota?). I was made to feel stupid that I did not question him more.
I received only one notice from the bank, which shocked me enough (-$21) — it included charges which I was not told would occur. This account did not ever have any checks drawn on it or deposits except for the $1 he said would be enough for the account.
When I talked to customer service they implied that I was stupid and that I received notices that I never did. They said that I owed $76. They told me it was already in collections —I received no notice of anything including daily charges or being sent to collections.
I would have done things differently if told the truth at any point. I feel that this is not an honest organization and customer service will not fix branch mistakes.
