I read the other reports about Homecomings and they unfortunately got ahold of me too. I had originally obtained a loan with someone else and was sold to Homecomings. I have filed two chapter 13 bks to try to keep this house. My attorney had just recently (December) worked out a repayment plan for me to pay attorney fees and payments that I could not find my receipts for. They had told him I hadn't made payments from Feb. To Nov for 2004.
Fortunately I had found all but 3. I had mailed December in and they mailed the check back to me asking me to resubmit it. They then turned it over to a foreclosure attorney once again. They then came back and said they have it straightened out.
January was pretty uneventful. February is another story. We mailed it in and the check was never deposited. They filed relief of stay and received it so I am once again fighting to keep this house. I had high hopes of it going smoothly for just a little while so that maybe I could refinance and get away from them.
HELP!!! Over the last almost 3 years they have filed for foreclosure 3 times. I have filed two bks to try to keep this place and have had 1 workout that I stuck to and they didn't recognize.
