Homecomings Financial
Dishonest, fradulent billing, money hungry thieves

We have been with Homecomings for 5 years only because our loan was sold to them a few months after we purchased our home. I became very ill in 2006 and was unable to work and it put a major hardship on our family. We got behind in our payments. However, over the years we noticed advancements and charges that never could be explained to us and we could not refinance because we were stuck with them for 3 years.

When we got behind in our payments they said they began foreclosure proceedings which we never received any type of notice or paperwork about. We agreed to do a repayment plan. The repayment plan seemed very good, however when we made our first payment of $1,500.00 we were told that it would go to the mortgage payments to get them caught up. It did not. It went to the so called attorney's fees (which I asked for proof of and never received).

We have been paying Homecomings since July, we pay them $260.00 extra (above our mortgage payment) every month. Based on our records we were caught up in February with the mortgage payments but still owe the attorney's fees. According to the repayment plan we owed 4,209.00, we have paid them about $3,000.00.

According to their records we are still three months behind and still owe them almost $2,800.00. They are also still showing us in foreclosure on our credit report and have not even reported to the credit bureau the payments we have been making.

I have requested several documents from them that they will not provide me. I requested the transaction history and low and behold their are about $1,500.00 worth of "corporate advances" and they can not tell me what they are for. They are crooks and I would love to get their attention.
