Homecomings Financial
Deceptive Business Practices

In December my chapter 7 was discharged. Since this date, Homecomings refused to send me statements stating they no longer could due to the bankruptcy. However, if when my payment goes a few days late, I immediately get a FEDEX letter from them asking me to fill out paperwork on why I'm delinquent.

Time and time again, I've told them it's because my ARM has gotten out of control and they will not refinance the loan. When I tried to refinance the loan recently, the lender had to contact Homecomings to get a pay history since Homecomings will not report on my credit bureau either.

Homecomings sent back to the refinance lender a crazy pay statement showing how late my payments had been down to the number of days instead of the general 30,60, 90 day, etc. I also found out they cancelled my escrow account but didn't tell me and since I don't get statements, I had no idea! No one in Homecomings could tell my why it was cancelled. Since my escrow was now so short, my refinance fell through.

I've also experienced the nightmares others have posted such as lost payments, being sent to the foreclosure department within a day before my payment being received; leaving me paying attorney fees. I have sent many emails to Homecomings and they ignore them. When I call them, they are horribly rude.

I am extremely willing and looking forward to getting Homecomings in a class action suit
