Believe EVERYTHING you read on this site about CIC Credit Monitoring [aka FreeCreditReport.com, Experian, etc] They are a total scam that take your information and charge you. At present, I have NO IDEA how they got my charge card number as I have never requested a credit report from them nor have I used the account in question with any of their "sister" companies.
As Usa Consumer Complaints.com states - DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER and ACT QUICK! I called my charge company and they wanted me to do the leg work of contacting CIC Credit Monitoring and I firmly, but politely, said NO I want to file for a dispute form. Eventually they did - after being on hold for nearly 25 minutes.
Fight this scam company every way and definitely file a rip off report!
