I have been doing business with providian national bank, aka, providiancard services, aka providian finantial services, for 10 years.
I had two accounts. 1, visa & 1 master card. Everything was fine until oct-03, providian notified me that my account, visa was going to be changed to a master card. The account went to card services, in beth page n.Y. And the never sent me a new card, with this account. My balance was $6600., my credit limit was $7500. I never missed a payment, i was 2 different times.
I paid the late fees. It was less than 30 days late, both times. This is over the entire account history. The 1st late payment, 19.9% went to 24.9% late fees. The second time 24.9%to 28.9%. They changed the agreement mid stream to 31.99% $39.99 late charges, if i was late. No matter when i pay they always say im late and tac on late fees. Then providian sold the account to card services, in beth page n.Y. 11804-9001 i carried card insurence all this time, 10 years and when i got injured at work, i had to wait for workmans comp insurence to pay me. Card insurence was suppose to pay my credit card bills. They told me that i had no card insurence. Providian is a kaniving, rippoff, scam, scum sucking maggot of a company.
Card services is just as bad. I made no contractual agreement with card services, therefor i owe them nothing! They continue to call & harass me on the phone. Card services has made negitive credit reports to the credit reporting companies about me. Their entries are false.
