Ripoff nothing but problems since credit card accounts purchased from Direct Merchants, Late posting of payments, No annual fees before, now Household has added annual fees

I have had nothing but problems since Household Bank bought cr. Cards account from Direct Merchants Bank. Payments are being posted 2-3 weeks after they are mailed, they have added annual fees which was waived by Direct.

The last straw. I sent a on-line payment on 9/16/04 to pay my credit card. I received by new bill on 10/15/04 that showed a late fee. I called 10/16/04 and made a double payment of $200.00 by phone. I tried to stop the on-line payment, but on 10/19/04 my cr. Card account was credited $100.00 (the missing payment) and the $200.00.

I called Household and confirm that all payments were now posted. I requested for them to put $100.00 of the 3 payments towards November but they refused.

I commented to Household that I have had nothing but problems. The supevisor I spoke with said that I was the first to complain. I know this is untrue.
