Purchased a pup from Acura Cockapoos and at the first vet appointment the dog had an illness Giardia, now 2 months in we have spent over $300 on antibiotics plus another $500 in vet fees and fecal tests along with the stress that comes with trying to get it to go away. We are on the second course of antibiotics because the first round didn't work.
Also annoyed at the amount of litters constantly being advertised. No one can take care of that many puppies or cleaning the area in which they stay properly to get rid of illness and Giardia which is EXTREMELY contagious!
Found that throughout the process the breeder would constantly change the price of the dogs, the amount for a deposit, the shipping rates, and the contract.
Without a doubt this is a puppy mill. Pup has a great temperment but had no socialization and a serious illness for a purchase price of $1500 plus shipping. Avoid this breeder and buy local if you can. Seeing the parents and the place in which your puppy is housed is so important, unfortuntely I learned this too late!
