Direct TV is terrible. Worthless customer service. Terrible reception. They actually told me to climb on my roof to take the little bit of snow off the dish - I'm a single mom - really? Do I actually have to climb on my roof? I had cable for 18 years with no problems.
Service regularly breaks up. They snuck in a 2 yr. Contract without my knowledge. Apparently it was in the massive amount of paper work they had me sign AFTER they did the installation at 9:00 at night! You don't see any of that in the ads or cards they send in the mail to solicit your business. I own a business, if I ever did that to a customer, they would sue me! Don't give up your cable for Direct TV - you will be very disappointed and to add insult to injury, you'll be stuck with them for 2 years!
