I recently purchased a voucher from Living Social for a one night weekend
stay at the Stanley hotel. I duly noted the restrictions prior to my purchase (copied at the end of this ticket).
No where in the so called "fine print"
does it say anything about a required
two night stay for nights involving Saturday for the months of March, April,
and May. Yet Living Social knowing left out that restriction when advertising this voucher. Had the two night Saturday
stay been mentioned I certainly would
have either declined to purchased the
deal or bought two vouchers...
For the reason Living Social willingly
left out the two night stay restriction
the advertisement for this "deal" is
purposely deceptive and misleading.
Exchanging emails with their customer
"service" representatives was useless as all they would do was quote their "30 day refund" policy.
I would have no problem with adhering to the 30 day refund policy if
Living Social had not misrepresented
the restrictions of this offer. I am
seeking a refund of the purchase of
the Stanley Hotel deal.
