Called Fedex in Ireland at 10am for package delivery to Canada. No problem they said took all the details including payment details. "Someone will collect between 10.30 and 5pm today" I was told. At 3pm get a call saying no they are not picking up may parcel as agreed because the 'Courier' is ONLY in my area in the morning. Isn't 10.30am morning? I just knew they would screw it up. The couriers are not there for the customers convenience they are there only for their own, if they've driven past your house they will not be coming back! It is outrageous and a breach of the verbal contract. Never had a Fedex parcel arrive when they say it will - EVER. Waiting for supervisor to call, told it would be within half an hour, still waiting. Told I would receive confirmation by e-mail right away, still waiting. As far as customer service is concerned they are rubbish. Lost a WHOLE day over this. I obviously do not matter. Looks like my parcel will not arrive in Canada by Wednesday after all. What a pack of lies they sell to get your money.
