This new Petco Pals Rewards program is a joke! When you look at your rewards, the dollar amounts do not add up to $100 when a $5 coupon is issued. Apparently the amount at the top going toward your next coupon includes whatever purchases you have made recently. However, "for security reasons," only the help line can access those, so you do not know if your purchases are being tallied correctly.
Any time you try to reach someone for help, it is a foreign country and it is difficult to understand the person to begin with. Then they do not have any answers and are completely reading from a script. It is a total joke.
I spend upwards of $200 a month at Petco because of the brand of dog food, which is why I go there. I am starting to look elsewhere, all because of this program and the customer service. I love the physical store employees, who are always very helpful. But this rewards program is more of a headache than it is worth, for sure!!
