I live in bethel ct i contracted to have u-verse installed after telling them in the store not to mess up& go to the same street name in danbury ct they took 4 days to ck to make sure i gave them the right address mind you that for 32yrs every month at&t sent me a bill to my house that i always paid on time & they always cashed my ck so because of thier mistake it put another month of waiting for u-verse in the store i told them any phone contact was to be to my land line then my cell, every message they sent me was on my cell never my home phone so the install was to be 4/2 because of thier foul up it was pushed to 4/30 they gave me a 2hr window 11: am-1: pm @ 12:59 i get a call from the tech that he is turning off my phone & dsl to connect u-verse then he would come to house to complete the install, after a few mins my buddy @ my house says look you still have dsl on so i ck my phone & thats still on 1/2 hr later istill had service 50 mins later @ 1:50pm the tech comes to my door, says he has bad news i said let me guess they sent you to danbury instead of bethel he was suprised i knew this he said nothing i can do today someone from tech will call you i said fine everything was still in service. At 2:00PM my phone & dsl go off i start calling the repair service then they keep switching me around or putting me in hold or just disconnecting i even tried the u-verse store they had the same luck after 4hrs of begging i got my phone back on no help from uverse for the next 7!! Yes 7!! Days i spoke to 36 different people spent a total of 17 hrs on the phone with nothing but lies from uverse how they were going to call me with up dates & handle it personaly [still waiting for a call] finally on sat may 7 i spoke to cindy in texas who tried to help but couldnt but did call me back THE ONLY ONE FROM UVERSE WHO in 7 days i keep dialing i got monica in missouri in dsl customer recovery who kept at it & got me to a tech in calif. Named nick that worked with me on the phone for almost 2hrs to get my dsl back on it is may 11 still no call from uverse is this how you run a co? How about a call cowards
