I recently signed up for ATT U-verse bundeled service and I will conced that over all I have been impressed with the product. However yesterday I had a techinal issue while attempting to set up a sub account email account and the response i recived had same old AT&T all over it, after spend around about 40 minutes with online support I finnaly asked the tech to just delete the account so that i could try to start over. The tech said that this was something that I needed to do, so I said OK no problem little did i know that I had to sign in to the account to do this (WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT I COULDN'T DO IN THE FIRST PLACE) When I called them back the moron that i talked to sent me to DSL tech support not U-verse support. At this point I gave up. The salesman that convinced me to switch to ATT said that they had learned there lesson and that U-verse was compleatly different and they were all about customer service. I realize that this was a salesman telling me this and as a general rule salesman are not to be believed but I figured what the hell how often do I need to call customer service. BIG mistake, 4 days after the install our main DVR box quit turning on unless it was unpluged first so i asked my wife to call them and ask for a new box she spent 45 minutes on the phone talking to (3) different techs. ATT said that they would be at our house between 12 and 4 that afternoon and she gave them HER cell # as a contact #. At 4:20 a tech called my cell phone and said he would be there in 20 minutes. So my wife took an afternoon off of work for no reason at a cost in lost wages of about $100. Service my ass. I'm here and the product is good but if you value customer service get your bundeled services from someone else!
