I have lived in an apartment complex that is under contract with DirecPath. Due to my credit standing, I was afraid of a large deposit from DirecPath. I was right. I opted out of receiving services from DirecPath. When attempting to find alternate internet service providers, I find nothing. The lack of options beyond DirecPath is infuriating. I know I am not the only resident to be discouraged and upset by this monopoly. (Call it what you will, so will I. A contract with the rental agents to restrict services available to a particular area - monopoly.) Knowing I could be using CHARTER or COMCAST and paying LESS for MORE internet, but not having the option to choose is upsetting. Please stop your "contract" because in all honesty, it does NOTHING for us consumers but FORCE us to accept a means we would otherwise refuse.in other words, the only reason you get business is because you eliminate the competition.
