I have watched disney my entire life and i have constantly seen harsh and slandering messages towards overweight kids. There seems to always be one child on a show that is overweight and they are always made fun of for that reason, no matter what the situation. As an overweight teen myself, i can fully understand how hurtful and damaging these comments can be to mental health development throughout a child's life; all over the fact that they are diffrent giving no consideration to the fact that overweight people are just as intelligent and socially acceptable as any other child. I have seen this on almost every show where the main characters are all thin and there is one child or teen who is overweight and that character has to be made fun of or have some kind of quirk that is considered annoying or detrimental to others.
