For my home phone right now I

For my home phone right now I just have Verizon basic service. When we moved in to our house last May our only option for internet was dial up and our only option for cable was Direct TV. Since we are only home on the weekends we decided to not get Direct TV and live without the TV for the day and half we were home.

As of yesterday we are going to be home alot more and now we can actually get DSL at our house. So I called Verizon to ask about there bundled deals. When I first called I had to speak to the dumb automated "representative" that every large company seems to have. Do they not understand that sometimes we want to speak to an actually live person? Most of the dumb automated rep's make it almost impossible to get to a live representative. Verizon's system was quite easy to talk with. After confirming that I was calling about the right phone number all I had to say was "I want to talk to a sales representative" and the automated system put me right through.

The live sales rep was just as easy to talk too and didn't try to make me pay extra money for a bunch of services that I didn't need. She got me just what I wanted and made it as quick and easy as possible for me. To add Direct TV, unlimited long distance, and DSl it only took about 10 minutes of my time. I have recieved the confirmation calls and emails the lady said I would recieve. I am very impressed with Verizon.
