I recently signed up for Direct TV because we just can't get any channels without it or one of it's competitors. What a mistake, I signed up for the Entertainment package for a special rate of $24.99 and some free channels for 3 months. I got a lower package, no free channels and no one has solved nor do I think they will solve this. I am just stuck with a two year contract. They also initially told me the discount depended on my credit check. Upon that check they told me I could not get the additional discount. I have an excellent near perfect credit score so when I asked why they could not tell me. I waited a couple days and then tried again, I did get the additional discount but now have the wrong package. Have been without cable, satellite, or any TV service all my life so sorry I chose them when I decided to do this..
