About 3 years ago, our apartment complex said we have a "great deal" we are partnering with Windstream to provide your phone, Internet, and satellite service. Previous was charter but you could get dish network or DirecTV. Well we got the top 200,1 dvr hd, 1 hd receiver, 1 sd. What is great deal of price? $95.00/mnth no contract. I called to see about getting Hopper and other new deal offered by dish for whole home dvr hopper same channels all hd. For 65$. Dish can't do it because windstream has contract w windstream. Windstream said not giving me any deal or hopper because they have contract being only place allowed to go in there. So either i drop channels or parts of service to lower price or don't watch TV. The justification by Windsuck is I do not have to sign a contract. I would agree to have for 24mnths for a deal but Windsuck says no. Why? Because they know I'm not able to get anything else. This should not be allowed to force somebody to use bad company with horrible customer service. This is not including the horrible Internet service for $65 that you either use them or nobody. You want to see the true company remove their competition they will show how much they care. If i could use another place i would give windsh*t the boot. If your looking for an apartment ask if windstream has a contract with place if they do you better run or get ready to have your pockets picked by the crooks! FYI dishnetwork is awesome they agree I'm getting the screw job but even they can not help.
