I moved to Gig Harbor, WA two months ago. I got the name of Comcast from a relative who thought they were a great company. I signed up for Internet Service as well as home phone. After a month, the children's school officials complained the phone does not work, they cannot reach me. I tried myself to make calls, it did not work. I called in to Comcast and cancelled phone service. Somehow the phone service was never cancelled, it never worked and I have a bill for $294.00. I paid a $50 deposit fee to start service. Now Comcast told me I havae to pay $294.00 and they will reimburse me afterwards for a phone that never worked and that was never cancelled. They say it is my word against theirs! I told them, look on the bill, there was no calls made ever, because the phone did not work! And no calls were received! While the dispute is on, my Internet service was dissrupted and it will not be restored until I pay the full bill of $294.00! This is really bad service! Sorry!
