(Sic) We at Time Warner Cable sincerely appreciate being chosen by governmental agencies throughout central North Carolina as the ONLY cable TV and cable high-speed internet service provider. However, due to the spectacular population growth in this area, our requestsfor additional customer installations require that we cut off some poorer, low service level customers in favor of the 175 dollar per month and higher customer base. To further this need for customer reduction we will be implementing the following actions:
If you earn less than $75,000 per year and do not subscribe to our elite cable TV and internet packages, we will have to force you to move to another (non-existant) service provider. To force this change, effective immediately, we are increasing your internet cost by charging a new fee for your cable modem (no pain to our higher income earners). Additionally, we have implemented a "poor customer denial of service action" - where by we will start taking away TV channels from your poor man's cable package (no impact on our richer customers). If you grant us a full 10% of your Social Security income monthly, we will agree to continue your service at its current level.
