Called up Comcast to get cable and internet installation, was told I would need a router. One time fee of $69.99 with a rebate which would make it free. Looked at my bank statement and was charged twice for $84.94 by saveology, called and left a message got no response, emailed them twice no response. Comcast showed up at my house with a router in hand. And was told I never needed to order a router. I went to my bank and filed a claim against Saveology and contacted the Better business bureau. Now they contact me to tell me they don't see the second charge but will credit me the $84.94. No apologies for the scam they pulled. They want me to call them now. Too little too late!!! I told them to take it up with my bank who they now owe the money to. It is a shame that you cannot just get a cable company without a third party scamming you. And the whole rebate thing, you have to wait 16 to 18 weeks to get your money back. Please!!! Give me a break. They should be ashamed of themselves.
