Switched booking date, nonrefundable

Today I booked a hotel in San Francisco for tonight. I selected today's date and the room on easytobook.com, then proceeded to input all the billing information. I left the webpage open and did a few other tasks, then came back to finish filling out the form about 30 min later. I completed the booking and paid in full for the hotel room. Come to find out, the website CHANGED the date on me without me knowing it, and it was booked for a night 2 weeks from now. I attempted to call the website customer service, and apparantly they are located overseas, and their office was closed. I ended up having to re-book the same hotel through a different (more trusted) website that was $100 more for the same room! I plan on calling them tomorrow to see if they will reimburse me for the full amount of the original purchase. I suspect that because they are an overseas company, and the reservation said "nonrefundable", that I will get pushback and not likely get a refund. This was a company expense that took a hotel room that was supposed to be approximately $250, to something that cost over $600 and now will potentially be take out of my paycheck (I barely make that much in a week).

I will NEVER use this site again. I feel completely ripped off, and was made to look like an idiot to my company.
