Hi, I booked a trip from dubai to new zealand then to australia, to philippines and back to dubai on travelocity. I am writing this because i was very unhappy with the customer service i received when i missed a flight because i was not given enough time to get there. The part of the trip that i had a problem with was I ended up in sydney australia a day sooner than i expected. So i called travelocity and asked if it would be ok that i did not need the flight from brisbane, aus to sydney but still needed the sydney to philippines. The airlines said that this was ok if i missed the brisbane to sydney part. But when i contacted travelocity the customer service person said if i missed that brisbane to sydney part the whole rest of my flights would be cancelled so i paid ($150) for a one way ticket for one night from sydney to brisbane so that i could make my flight the next day from brisbane back to sydney. Well the next day came and i got on my brisbane to syd flight arriving in sydney at 7:30pm on qantas. Now i had to get off the plane follow signs to international transfer wait for a bus so i could go from one terminal to another terminal then walk from A to H counter so that i could get my connecting flight with philippine airline to the philippines. Well it was after 8pm by the time i got to the counter and the flight was closed. For international travel you need to be there 3 hours before your flight leaves. Travelocity did not give me enough time to get to my flight so i missed it. Then when i called travelocity the customer service person said that i would have to talk to philippine airlines about this problem and philippine airlines said i would have to deal with the company i booked the flight with. So no one at travelociy would help me i had to pay $1100 for a one way ticket to the philippines all because travelocity did not let me miss the brisbane to sydney trip and because that was a part of my trip that travelocity booked for me because i change a date so that i could spend 5 extra days in australia. I don't understand why travelocity does not understand that for international travel you need to be there 3 hours prior to your flight travelocity gave me less than 50 minutes. I ended up spending the night at the airport on a hard chair.in the past i always used travelocity from now on i am not going to book flights with them. 5214 5797 1180
