Travelocity.com - Don't Trust Your Travel to Them! - Cancellation Process Due to Weathe

We always try to give the benefit of the doubt to companies who appear to have their customer's best interests in mind. This is the second and last chance we give Travelocity to retain our travel business, and will never use them again. The first time, they changed our flight itinerary for an overseas flight that would have made us leave a full 24 hours in advance of our original itinerary; we had to go through a very onerous process to get our original flight times restored with a different airline. This time, we booked two hotels and a one way flight through Travelocity.instead of being able to complete our trip from CT to Miami, we are instead trapped in CT because of a blizzard. The governor has closed the state, so we can't travel to start our trip. It's not like we're trying to just cancel our trip because we changed our minds. Travelocity's representatives are clearly unaware and untrained to what happens to travel arrangements when major weather hits! Not all cancellations are equal, but woe to you if you need to cancel or postpone your travel because of a problem like this. I can arrange my own travel, in a fraction of the time it takes Travelocity to do it. We've now been on the phone an estimated 8 hours!!! Do you have that kind of time to waste dealing with a company who clearly doesn't have their customer's needs in mind?
