Isn't there a Lemon Law?

I have been the unhappy owner of a GE Profile dishwasher for 7 years.
I purchased this beautiful dishwasher with it's hidden controls in October of I purchased an extended warranty (thank goodness). I scheduled my first repair in July. The computerized control panel began to malfunction, and I was no longer able to change cycles. I schedule a repair, they came and diagnosed the problem, then scheduled a second visit for repair once the parts came in. The problem was that moisture had gotten into the electronics and burned out the logic board, and the control strip. I had the exact same problem.in January this time it took 3 visits to diagnose and fix the problem. But it was the same problem 6 months later.
I asked the tech if there was some kind of recall on the product he said no he had checked, and recommended that I put the dishwasher on a surge protector just in case I did. He felt bad for me, so he ordered extra parts in case the problem happened again it would only take one trip. It happened again in May of and then again in March. And then again in August of just two months before the extended warranty ran out. Two weeks ago May it happened again, at least this time I got 21 months of uninterrupted service. For some reason that felt "LUCKY" even though in a 5 year period the 7 year old appliance had been repaired for the exact same reason 6 times. I decided that perhaps it was time to get a new dishwasher, since the appliance was no longer under warranty. But I checked the GE repair website one last time. And lo and behold the appliance I've been struggling with for 7 years has FINALLY been recalled. My options were: $200 towards a new dishwasher, OR a free repair. I was leaning towards the new dishwasher until I read I had to get the exact same model to qualify. I really don't want this same model after it's obvious design flaw. So I decided to go with the repair. I took yet another 1/2 day off work to wait for the tech.in case you're counting that's a total of 10 days I've waited at home in 5 years to have this appliance repaired. I scheduled the appt for 1-5 and took a 1/2 day off the Friday before a holiday weekend. At 10:30 in the morning I received a call from the tech asking if I could be available earlier because he was ready to come over. I told him, no I'm sorry I can't leave work before noon. I rushed home and arrived right about 12:30 and so did the repairman. He came in said it would be a quick repair because he only had to install this one piece that would protect the control panel from excessive moisture getting in and burning it out. I told him that he'd have to replace the control panel and the logic board too because they were completely dead, but that I had the extra parts from the last visit. I explained the entire story. He gladly installed all the new parts and reassembled the dishwasher in less than an hour. He was pleasant and efficient. Then he left. I started my dishwasher for the first time in weeks and ran a load. Came back into the kitchen and noticed my throw rugs were wet, not just wet, but soaked. Thought that was strange but figured maybe something in the dishwasher with standing water had dripped on the rugs and threw them in the laundry. Ran a second load of dishes and came back in the kitchen to a big puddle of water in my kitchen floor. I called the repair service explained what happened and requested the tech return to fix the new problem that had not existed before he arrived. I was told they could come on Tuesday (it's was friday afternoon) I said "I'd like to request they come on Saturday because I've already taken a day off work and I can't take another. I was told they called dispatch to request it and was told no Saturday was available. I said how about next Saturday? Nope, no Saturday is available EVER! I explained the entire saga of this appliance and how much time it has cost me on the job, and was told they could do nothing. I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was transferred to Customer Satisfaction (a very inappropriately named dept may I add). During a 20 minute conversation as I became more and more aggravated I was told me they couldn't help me with the service call, or anything to do with the recall. But they could offer me a rebate on a new dishwasher, or they could even offer me a insurance settlement if my floor was damaged from the water, but under no circumstances could they get a tech to come out on a Saturday. I said "THIS IS GE... Surely someone at one the biggest most powerful companies in the US can insist that the tech that created a problem that did not exist before he arrived can come back and fix it on a time that is convenient to the customer. SURELY someone can make that happen.in fact I am willing to be that if I had "Jude's" phone number I could probably convince him to come back and take a look because he was a nice person, and a professional, I'm sure he would want his work to reflect that... But NOPE, they won't insist, they won't let me call Jude, or his the local GE repair to plead my case, they will only offer me a $200 rebate on a new crappy dishwasher. And they will happily send someone if I'm willing to jeopardize my job and take another day off to repair a machine that should have been replace under a lemon law years ago.
