I was contacted by phone. Said his name was Mario. Asked me if I owned a timeshare I said yes and he proceeded to tell me this TRANS AMERICAN SERVICES would advertise it so I could sell it. First price was $3,000. Said No.
He would not give up. His magical price came down 3 more times to $1200. I said I wanted to see properties listed on the system and see what the customers were getting for results. This is where it begins to smell. The Web Site www.transamericanservices.com is quite amateur with 4 properties listed. What? 4 properties??? This came to quite a surprise since they had been in business for years Mario stated. Really??? I then went to FL corporations site and look them up only to find they opened only 5 months ago. Mario would not stop asking for a credit card. I asked for a list of advertising they did for other customers and got only double talk.
As it turns out this company does advertise, the problem is they do not advertise even ONE customer's timeshare, They only advertise their own name as proof in the Dupont Registry.
