Booked 4 nights from May 22-26 through Priceline. Arrived at 9:00 PM. While checking in were told they don't like dealing with Priceline customers. This was said by clerk in front of other locals in the room much like an in joke. Given a one-bed, severely contaminated smoking room that reached out and grabbed us when we opened the door. Back at front desk we told clerk we had booked a two-bed, non-smoking room. Told none were available but we could have an upgrade for an additional $40.00 a night. Called Priceline who called Morton Grove Inn and no change. Priceline gave us our money back and stranded us. Drove 1 1/2 hrs in a storm to find a motel. Our view of Morton Grove Inn is tainted but it was not the nice place pictured on their web site. And it was not full up that Sunday night.
