During booking of a flight for a relative in Missouri - coming to visit from Springfield, MO to Phoenix, AZ - an offer for subscription to a discount coupon popped up without a field to decline only a huge YES on the page. At this point, a message came up that my session had expired and it would be necessary to input all information. Later, I received an e-mail confirming the reservation. I did not want the discount offer; therefore, cancelled the entire reservation. I was given an e-mail voucher - minus taxes, flex trip, etc., approximately $30 less than the amount billed to my credit card, in accordance with their rules & regulations. No cash refund would be made. I had to accept the voucher or lose the money even though I did not want to travel with this airline as I must travel 40 miles each way to the Mesa airport. The voucher is to be used only on Allegiant. I have made requests and communicated with several Allegiant agents in trying to reach a more satisfactory conclusion.

Today, March 16, I decided to go to Las Vegas and attempted to apply the voucher, only then did I learn that Allegiant does not fly from Phoenix to Las Vegas or Los Angeles even though I had received an e-mail flyer advertising companion flights to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. I realize this company has protected themselves legally and I probably do not have any recourse but to forfeit the money due on the voucher. However, I believe this company deserves to be investigated at least for misleading practices in their advertising.
