I thought I had a bargain in Allegiant. Unfortunately on the way to the airport my car broke down. I called Allegiant to see if I could get a later flight and was advised there were none. I then asked if I could have the tickets moved to a different date. I was told I forfeited the tickets and would not get anything. I then asked about getting a refund for the return tickets (since they book them that way). I was told I would get a voucher for $364 for their airline only. My total cost was $1083 and I am not going to get any refund. OMG!!! I was told that I could call customer grievance and see if they will give me anything. They told me it would take 8 weeks if they gave me any sort of refund at all. I really planned for this trip with my 3 kids and am a single mother on a budget. I couldn't believe an airline could be this unflexible.
