In April we attended a travel seminar in Ft. Myers Fl, given by the Condominium Travel Club, Pulaski, NY. The crux of the sales pitch was they could out you in a condo at any time, no blackout dates for $399, a week for a one bedroom, $499 a week for a two bedroom and $599 a week for a three bedroom and the cost to join the club would be $3000.00.
We had a two month planned for October and November, in New York, Maine and Mass. So it was appealing so we joined.in the end of May, beginning of June, I sent the request forms in to The Condominium Club for a Condo in New York for the week of 10/25/10, a condo in bar harbor, Me for the week of 11/1/10 and a condo in cape Cod, Ma for the week of 11/8/10. I heard nothing for at least four weeks so I called for a status. I was told there was nothing done yet, but they were still trying. A week later I called and was told " We do not have our own inventory of condos we have to get them from our suppliers" This was never stated in the sales seminar.
After repeated calls to the Condo Club and nothing being done, in August I was forced to make my own arrangements. I have written the President, Patrick Harbough two letters asking for a refund of my $3000.00 and have had no response.
