I already had 2 rooms reserved for my friends and family stay for my husband's graduation. 1 for my parents and the other for my in laws. Once I arrived on Wed Sept 8, I went ahead and got a room for myself also. So 3 rooms total were rented out for my families. We all checked in and there were bugs in the sheets, ceilings, and dirty beds. On Sept 9, we went to my husband's graduation and came back to the room to rest, as we returned, our keys didn't work? We were all confused and didn't know what to do so I took the keys to the office and they re-actived them for me and then it worked. The next day, we went back to his graduation and came back and they key didn't work again! They were trying to tell us to not keep it by my cell phone and anything metal. The key was not even near any of those areas and how could 2 keys not work when one was with me and the other was with my mother in law? They re-actived it again then when I changed and left the room, the door wouldn't lock! I had to go back to the office and have someone come and fix the lock! I so upset already by that time! It was hot outside, we were all hungry, and all this is is going on also! On 9/11/10, my parents checked out because they were going home so I checked them out at 5:00am, which still leaves me with my room still available for me to stay until check out time at 11am. When I dropped my parents off at the airport and came back to the hotel and got ready, I went to pick up my husband from base and returned back to the hotel to pick up my items before check out time. It was 10:15am. As I pulled up to the hotel, my door was open and they took all of my suit cases and personal belongings and put it on the floor and made the bed. Threw away my pizza! The housekeeper said that they told her I already checked out! I was like, how could I check out when I still have the keys in my hand? I immediately went to the office and told the guys that I was mad and upset! I did not check out! Keys are still in my hands. The only rooms that were checked out were the 2 rooms from that morning. Remember, I rented 3 rooms!!! All he had to say was "I'm sorry!" How is this only a SORRY? During my stay there, I went to the office too many times to count! I'm mad and upset! I know I will NEVER EVER stay at an ECONO LODGE EVER AGAIN!
