My family and I had been visiting family we hadn't seen in years and some we hadn't met at all. We had our rooms booked in advance to stay in the econo Lodge in Paw Paw MI from wed June 5 and stayed through sat June 8th. Never have I stayed in such a dirty filthy place. And worse of all we were not able to change hotels once we were there because someone else had purchased the rooms for us in advance using their credit card. The sheets and all bedding looked as if it hadn't been washed in such a long a time. As well as the towels. The first thing I did was pull off the comforter and throw it on the floor in a ball because it had obvious stains and stunk as if it were never washed. Then i pulled everything else back to check for bugs and other stains. The ENTIRE stay our bedding had NEVER been changed... Not a single time... The blanket I threw on the ground the first day stayed there the whole time. House keeping never picked up out of the room to be cleaned... I was shocked. And when we checked out, house keeping made the bed with our same dirty sheets and that same filthy comforter I had thrown on the floor!!! Was this worth 80 dollars a night??!! I wouldn't have stayed there if I had a choice if I was PAID 80 a night... Very disgusted that econo lodge advertises how wonderful a night's stay is with them, but have such a filthy nasty place with their name on it... Very unsatisfied... And when trying to tell the main desk I wanted clean bedding they told me to speak with housekeeping. To which I did, and they just shook there head yes but continued putting the dirty ones back on, The two housekeepers were very friendly and despite the language barrier between us tried to help us. I'm just sickened...
