First, thank you to all who posted to this site. It helped me in fighting for my refund. I did not take the trip, however, after reading all reports and making numerous contacts with the company, felt it was not in my best interest to spend more dollars.

I did get a total refund within two weeks of my initial contact. Steps to take:

Certified letters (return receipt) to Mr. Lambert, Vice President, and Leslie Maynard, Compliance Department Manager.

Fax Letter to Gina Johns (Adm. Assistant to Mr. Lambert)
954-331-4180 and Leslie Maynard (954-331-4189)

Your letter should include: DEMAND a copy of your "recorded contract" with the date you made it - DEMAND a refund of monies spent within five working days - let them know you have no intention of taking the trip, but have every intention of contacting any and every company remotely involved with Ramada Plaza Resorts and all those companies who offer consumer protection.

I also noted for them that class action suits in ten states and over 300 postings to this website did not speak highly of the integrity of this agency.

Be persistent and note everyone you speak to and your conversations should you need to take it further.
