On january 15 my mom and i took a bus to go see my son. We made reservations at the hotel mentioned. I went to the office and the owners daughter was there to the check in and the credit card payment. We arrived about 5:30 pm and was given a room that smelt rather nasty. The owner said he had just painted the room. The smell was so bad it literally made me sick and vomit. After about 1hr. The room was still very cold. I called the front desk and asked them if the heat was controlled by the office or our room. Mr copa said it was controlled by us in the room. The baseboard heater was stone cold. I called the office again and told them it was still cold. The wife told me to come to the office and that is what i did. I was handed a 12 inch white plug in heater. Not a blanket as mr. Copa stated. The next morning january 16th. I went into office and mr copa said that his college educated daughter made a mistake. She credited my credit card instead of taking payment. Mr. Copa said he would fix it and he did!!! Charged me 174.36. Now his sign says one double $72-$92.2 double beds $89-$110. Now we got the 1 double. But it didn't have a bar nor a fridge not even a jacuzzi. The shower was nasty with grey grout and left over garbage under the bed. As i stated the room smelly horrible and yes i should of asked for another but we had just traveled 12 hrs on a bus. I put in a complaint to bbb case # 2f72-e7d% this is so whomever wants to check by all means do so. I notified nys and got the answer it was wanting. Mr carter said it was illegal to have a space heater as a means of warmth. I am still waiting for another person to email me about the space heater. Mr. Copa did refund me $83. And change but to be devious and charge me $174and change is ridicilous and i want a refund of half of what he overcharged me. The man was nice to our faces but then used some dirogitory language and he has no right to presume what he said. You are supposed to be professional and a business owner not a psycologist. Mr copa you know you did us wrong so i am asking you for a refund of half of $174 and change. I know it was still winter but you need not take advantage of two women!
