A group of us stayed at this disgusting hotel for one night. Granted, we should have known better because of the horrible brand name "Days Inn" already is, but we figured we would give it a try.
Well, the toilet in our room was broken, would not flush. My friend ended up getting a little sick in the middle of the night and vomited in the toilet, forgetting it would not flush. She tries to flush and the toilet overflows everywhere! Water is all over the bathroom, the bedroom etc. It is like 2 inches deep. Emergency maintenance finally comes after 30 minutes and he sort of fixes the toilet.
When I complain to the hotel in the morning all the ignorant front desk woman can say is the general manager is not in and to call her back in a few days. I call back and the GM is not even a bit apologetic for the broken toilet and the inconvenience it caused at 2:30 in the morning. She proceeds to yell and be rude about the fact that she knows we decided to vomit all over the bedroom and then fill up about 1 million buckets of water and throw those all over the room. Are you kidding me?
All I want to say is do not ever stay at a Days Inn. They are the worst hotel chain ever with the worst brand in the business. Particularly, do not stay at the Days Inn in Port Clinton. It is literally a toilet... Dirty and disgusting and full of rude people as equally dirty and disgusting as the hotel rooms.
