What I thought would be a simple installation of a new toilet turned out to be a display of stupidity and bad manners, just another all to typical example of today's American worker. After listening to this young man's high praise for himself as he arrived at my house one would have thought here is a plumber that knows all there is to know about plumbing. The job was simple, take out existing toilet install new toilet kit (all parts included) to do the job. To sum up my displeasure with the work in the aftermath I found my $1500 sink/cupboard unit had dirty toilet water poured down the drain and spilled all over the sink top and left to dry. No attempt was made to even run the water to rinse the mess down the drain. I had to soak the sink for an hour to remove the stain. After paying this guy over $300 for this job turned out the waterline was never connected to the flush valve. He didn't feel it was his responsible because he thought the tank was pre-assembled! The new water line that came with the toilet kit he took that with him and left the old one connected rust and all. That after all is in the back of the toilet he must have thought I wouldn't notice that he didn't put the new in. I wonder now if he used the old wax ring too? Don't think I'll be using Aames Plumbing anytime soon again.
