RealtyTrade charged me $894 upfront, including $400 discount for being an Interval International account holder (Which also had their header on one of the e-mails, making me think they were linked.). I was sent four e-mail address contacts in six monthes, not one of them ever verified. I called customer service each time, they replied the message was sent to Marketing, with no buyer, ever.in June, Senior Manager Mike Holland sent a letter for my creditors saying a "potential offer" was being processed, please give them 30 days. No buyer.
I sent my written request for my refund within the necessary ten days. I was called by Customer Service to say it was denied, and Customer Service offered to extend the contract another six monthes at no additional charge. I declined, as a company that is unable to fulfill a contract in six monthes is not a reasonable option in today's marketplace. I requested documentation for the refund denial and was told RealtyTrade does not need to verify their decision. Senior Manager Mike Holland returned my message, suggesting that I had sold my property via their advertising, and "was there anything else I needed that he was not going to provide?".
I paid my now delinquent taxes on my Napa timeshare, I still have the property, and since I live in CA, and the court is in FL, my recourse is limited. My credit is wrecked, I am out the $894 fee, which I could have spent on a vacation! And I have been personnaly insulted by Senior Management.
