Ramada Vacations To Go ripoff, scam, feel like I have been robbed! False promises, victimized many consumers Ft Lauderdale Florida...
I bought a Vacation package 7/15. Questioned salesman throughly about hidden costs and expectations. There were none.
Right! We could not take the cruise first due to sickness in family, so we asked and were told we could take the Las Vegas one first. Run into first problem when we tried to set date for trip. Could not confirm anything until we chose 3 different dates and they would let us know which one we got. Something like spin the bottle! By this time I am just a little miffed.
Finally I was told we could go ahead an book out flight as they had confirmed our dates. We were supposed to get a letter several weeks ahead with instructions, I got them over the phone.By this time I had written a letter to Dan Lambert to complain.
I have yet to recieve a reply. I sent it certified, so I know he got it! Nothing was ever said about Time Shares etc. We got to Las Vegas and had to go to " a welcome ctr " first. We were told that to make our trip more enjoyable they were offering 2 Free Buffets and a club act if we would just give them 30 minutes of our time.
At that point I realized they wer going to try and sell us something more. I figured I could stand 30 minutes. The something more turned out to be a 2 hr high pressure sell for time shares in Vegas. Plus we also had to leave a $20.00 dollar deposit. I'm not going to go into what happened, but I did not stay for the sell and I also got my deposit back. Our rooms were at the Imperial Palace which is not even affiliated with the Ramada Inns.
The only real complaint I have about the whole thing is I feel like I was lied to and these people have done this to a lot of folks. So everybody Welcome to the club of Vacations to go RIPPOFFS.
