We purchased a vacation package for $598 also, in the summer of 2001 and we were very disappinted. It was a complete ripoff and don't see how they get away with it.
There was so many undisclosed costs like gratuity that was automatically taken out of your credit card, cleaning fee, I could go on and on. (this was all for the piece of crap cruise boat the OceanBreeze that we went on.)
When we stayed at the Ramada in Ft. Lauderdale this wasnt first class accomodations maybe the lowest class accom. The room stunk of odor and it was hot as hell in the rooms and hallways, etc.
We was supposed to go to Orlando but we were afraid of what we would find there or where we would of stayed I should say, so we came home.
I am very very disappointed that I spent this much money on a vacation that was such a ripoff and we will never ever stay at a Ramada again or have anything to do with and I will also give everybody else this information because I can't see anybody else aste their money.
When I contacted Ramada Plaza Resorts they acted like it was no big deal which now I know because of this web Site, there is so many more that have or had the same problem I do with them. They are full of false advertisement and undisclosed costs, so rethink if you want to really spend that money on a bunch of liars.
