I thought I was using hotels.com, but ended-up with travelnow.com
They quoted a price on the phone. Yes, I called on the phone! I wanted to verify everything with a human being. The agent made the reservation and several time promised the rate was complete. It included taxes, fees, charges, etc.
However, when I got to the hotel they insisted on $10 more
to pay travelnow.com. I paid the extra ten at the hotel, then I got billed $5 on my credit card by travelnow.com
So if hotels.com is so honest, why do they need this other
business to "redirect" everything through?
